Management Trainee

We are now looking for a Management Trainee to join our Impact Team. This is an entry-level role ideal for a recent graduate who wants to gain hands-on experience in impact operations, financial reporting, and internal systems, supporting our mission to deliver measurable, high-quality environmental impact.
The Role
You’ll work closely with the impact team, finance, and operations, helping improve internal processes and supporting the backend delivery of climate and nature results. You’ll contribute to onboarding, credit delivery workflows, internal administration and coordination, and internal tooling.
This is a broad and hands-on role that will give you exposure to many parts of Milkywire’s operations, ideal for someone who is driven, financially literate, and eager to learn and apply digital tools to work smarter and more efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Onboarding & Admin Coordination: Onboarding & Admin Coordination: Support onboarding of new projects. Manage documentation, templates, and internal systems in a structured, timely way.
Backend Impact Operations: Assist in the delivery and tracking of climate and nature impact data, including support for credit issuance and delivery to partners. Ensure data collection processes are smooth and accurate.
Impact Controlling: Help manage administrative tasks related to Milkywire’s partnerships with foundations, supporting documentation, financial records, and reporting routines.
AI & Digital Tooling: Build and maintain forms, dashboards, and automations using tools like Google Workspace, Notion, Zapier, and especially AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and custom GPTs. Continuously explore ways to streamline work and reduce manual admin.
Process Improvement: Collaborate across teams to help identify and improve workflows related to credit delivery, fund tracking, and partner impact reporting. Contribute to building more data-driven workflows for disbursements and allocations.
Experience
University degree in a relevant field (e.g. business, economics, finance, sustainability, or environmental studies).
Experience through internships, volunteering or projects involving grants operations, reporting, sustainability, or administration is a plus.
Comfort with tools like Google Sheets, Docs and Forms, Notion, Zapier and a strong curiosity around digital and AI tools and automation.
