Content Creator (part time)
Write, design, create – flexible part-time role producing climate content and visuals for Milkywire and our partners.
We usually respond within two weeks
Milkywire sits at the intersection of climate, technology, and business. Since our start in 2017, we have helped some of the world's most prominent companies turn their climate ambitions into concrete projects and initiatives. Through partnerships with companies like Klarna, Spotify, and Salesforce, we help organizations take responsibility for their emissions, finance climate projects, and accelerate the transition to a more sustainable future.
We are now looking for a part-time Content Creator to help us elevate our own and our partners' communications around climate and impact.
About the Role
As Content Creator, you will work closely with our Comms & Partner Lead, helping us turn complex climate topics into engaging and accessible content – primarily for our clients' climate work, but also for Milkywire's own channels. The role combines writing and visual content – ideally, you can both write sharp copy and create polished visual material, from social media carousels and graphics to professional presentations. All external content is primarily written in English.
Among other things, you will:
Write copy for LinkedIn and other social channels, mainly related to our partnerships, but also for Milkywire
Create visual content for social media – carousels, graphics, and images, ideally with the help of AI tools
Turn our impact managers' longer articles and analyses into shorter, accessible articles and thought leadership formats
Create and design presentations for events and meetings, including larger external settings
Write press releases and other communications materials when needed
The assignment is on an hourly basis with varying needs over the year – some periods are more intense (e.g., around events and launches), others quieter. It suits someone looking for a flexible engagement alongside studies or other work.
Qualifications
Proven experience in content creation – this cannot be your first assignment in the field
Excellent written English
Experience writing for LinkedIn and social media, preferably in a B2B context
Ability to get up to speed on complex topics and make them clear and engaging
An eye for design and experience creating visual content – e.g., carousels, graphics, and presentations in tools like Canva, Google Slides, Figma, or PowerPoint
Self-driven and used to working toward deadlines with a varying workload
It's a plus if you:
Have studied or are studying communications, media, journalism, or a related field
Can design polished, professional presentations for larger external settings
Have experience with AI tools for image and content production (e.g., Midjourney, ChatGPT/Claude, Canva AI)
Have experience with or an interest in climate and sustainability
Have written press releases or worked in PR
What we offer
A flexible, hourly-based assignment that can be combined with studies or other commitments
The opportunity to work on some of Sweden's most high-profile climate partnerships
Great variety – from social media to thought leadership, events, and press
An entrepreneurial environment with short decision paths and plenty of freedom
